In the centre of the picture, the military hospital, closed in 1995, houses today only administrative and technical services of the castle. The main thing to remember is that this building was the Great Outhouse (Grand Commun) under the Monarchy, and was achieved in 1684 by architect Jules Hardouin-Mansart. This building was used for the services of the court and official accommodation. Large excavations have been carried out in its square courtyard, where the ancient royal real-tennis has been discovered.
