The Congress Hall of Versailles is in the centre of the south wing.
Built in 1875, therefore after the end of monarchy, it is used for the “Congress”
of the French Republic. The “Congress” is the meeting of both Houses of the French Republic,
the House of Deputies and the Senate. This meeting is necessary for any alteration of the Constitution.
