In the foreground right of the picture, is a group of buildings which still remain fairly unknown. (

The small temple in the centre right of the picture could be the “Bukoleion” whereby
the enclosures could be the sanctuary of Zeus Polieus. Nowadays, one can see only the
grooves in the ground to determine the foundations. The informations about this location
come from literary sources rather than from archeological sources. You can notice on the
left the sanctuary of Pandion.
