These three temples were situated in the New Town of Babylon, on the west bank of the Euphrates.
The temple of Belit-Nina, that you see on the picture was very close to the northern city walls.
As all other temples of Babylon, it might have richly decorated façades covered with glazed bricks.
The temple of Hadad was smaller. It was standing near the western gate of Hadad,
and should be close to the canal that went through the New Town.
In the background you can see the temple of Belit-Nina close to the walls.
The temple of Shamash was built in the south side of the New Town. Its shape reminds the style of the Ziggurats.
A view angle of the temple of Shamash that allows to see the other bank of the Euphrates,
and in the distance the great Ziggurat.
